Baccarat Sections: Rules How to Play Payoffs

Baccarat (pronounced *bah-ca-rah*) is the French version of an Italian game. Easy to learn & fun to play, Baccarat is a game to be enjoyed by everyone & even though it's often considered the most glamorou's game in the land based and online casinos.

Object of the Game

The gambler's objective is to correctly predict which of the two ("2") hand's (Gambler or Banker) will have a point total closest to "9"

How to Play

This version of Baccarat uses eight deck's of card's. The deck is reshuffled after each hand.

*The Bets*. The main game is a wager on the Gambler's hand, or the Bankers hand:
  • *Gambler* -> Pay's even money.
  • *Banker* -> Pay's even money minus a *5%* commission which is collected on winning bet's.
  • *Tie* -> Pays "9" to "1", if the Gambler & Banker point totals tie.

Select an initial bets amount then click in the designated betting area's. The valid betting area's are in the center (¹4) column. Place your bet in the *BANKER* row to bet on the banks hand, or in the "GAMBLER" row to bet on the gambler's hand. To bet on a tie & place your bet in the *TIE* area. The minimum bet is $5,00 (US) & the maximum bet is $100,00 (US).

*The Deal*. The gambler is dealt the first & third card while the second & fourth card's are dealt to the bank. Specific rules dictate whether a third card is drawn for the gambler or the bank. The gambler's hand is completed first.

*The Cards*. Aces count as "1". All face card's & ten's count as "0". All other card's are counted at face value. Each hand's point total is the last digit of the sum of their card's. So, for example:

"5" + "Q" = "5". This hands point total is "5".
"3" + "4" = "7". This hands point total is "7".
"J" + "K" = "0". This hands point total is "0".
"10" + "4" + "2" = "6". This hands point total is "6".
"4" + "7" + "8" = "19". This hands point total is "9".
"5" + "6" + "K" = "11". This hands point total is "1".

The winner of the game is the hand whose point total is closest to "9". In the case of a tie, the bet's on the Bank & the Gambler are standoff's & neither the Bank or Gambler win's nor loses unless the Gambler has placed a wager on *TIE*.
