Slots payoffs vary depending on the number of coin's wagered & the combination of symbols that appear on the slots reel's. Each slots has a *payoff line* that is usually indicated by an arrow & is usually along the center row of each reel. The symbol's that lineup within this row make-up the combination that will determine the pay-off.
As soon as the reel's are spun, the number of coin's bet is removed from the gambler's balance. At the top of the slots is a chart of symbol combination's displaying their associated payoff's based on the number of coin's bet. Each payoff line indicate's the total number of coin's that will be placed into the gambler's balance if won. The coin's paid are of the same denomination as the coin's bet.
A line on the *chart* may look similar to:
The first column show's the combination of symbol's required to receive this payoff. The column's to the right show the various payoffs based on the number of coin's wagered. The first column to the right of the symbol's is the number of coin's won if *1* coin was bet before spinning the reel's. The two (2) column's to the right of that indicate the number of coin's won if *3*, or *2* coin's were bet.
In the example above, the slots must display any of the *BAR* symbol's along the payoff line of each reel to receive this pay-off. If the gambler had bet *1* coin before spinning the reel's, he or she wins *10* in return. If *3*, or *3* coin's were bet, the payoff would be *20* & *30* coin's respectively.
