Video poker offer's a poker simulation that can be played at a fraction of the cost of it's table counterpart. Just like slots, each additional coin wagered increase's the amount of the payout.
Object of the Game
In videopoker there is no opponent, so the objective is to get the highest ranking hand possible.
How to play
The video poker screen displays *3* value's:
- *Paid* -> The number of coin's won from the last hand.
- *Credits* -> The total number of coin's remaining in your balance. This value will adjust according to the coin denomination setting of the videopoker machine.
- *Coins* -> The number of coin's to be bet on the next hand.
The video poker machine also has *4* button's:
- *Cash Out* -> Reset's the number of coin's being bet to *0*, returning them to your balance.
- *Deal/Draw* -> When at least one (1) coin has been bet, the *deal/draw* button will become enabled. The first time the *deal/draw* button is clicked, the game begin's & the initial hand is dealt. Once the gambler has chosen which card's to hold or keep, the *deal/draw* button is clicked a second time to draw the replacement card's & complete the game.
- *Bet Max* -> Allow's the gambler to quickly bet the maximum number of coin's permitted by the videp poker machine & immediately deal the initial hand.
- *Bet One* -> Bet's one (1) coin at a time. Once the desired number of coin's is bet, the gambler must begin the game manually by clicking the *deal/draw* button.
*The Bets* -> Select a denomination for the videopoker machine ($0,25 (US), $0,50 (US), $1,00 (US), $2,00 (US), or $5,00 (US)). This will set the value of each coin played. Deposit one to five coin's into the video poker machine, use the *Bet One* button to bet one coin at a time or use *Bet Max* button to bet the maximum coin's allowed by the video poker machine (balance permitting). Click on the *deal/draw* button to deal the initial hand. Note that the *Bet Max* button will automatically cause the initial hand to be dealt.
*The Cards* -> Card's are ranked in order of their face value, with aces considered *high*. The ranking is from lowest to highest *2*, *3*, *4*, *5*, *6*, *7*, *8*, *9*, *10*, Jack (*J*), Queen (*Q*), King (*K*) and Ace (*A*). Some games make use of *Wild Card's* (Joker or any deuce) that can be used as any other card's to improve the hand.
*The Deal* -> Five card's will be dealt to the gambler. Since there is no opponent. The gambler must achieve the highest ranking hand possible. The gambler must decide which of the *5* card's he or she wishes to *keep* or *hold* or discard for new card's. Once the decision has been made, the video poker-machine take's away the card's you did not keep & replace's them with new card's. The game is then complete & the resulting hand determine's the payout.

*NOTE*: *Five of a Kind* & *Wild Royal Flush* require wild card's, which can be any deuce (*2*) in *Deuces Wild* or a *Joker* in *Joker Poker*.
Video Poker Detail's
*Deuces Wild* -> Deuces Wild is played with one standard *52* card deck with all four deuces (*2*) considered wild card's. It should be noted that in *Deuces Wild* a *Wild Royal Flush* rank's higher than a *Five Of A Kind* & a hand containing all *four deuces* rank's second only to a natural *Royal Flush*.
*Jacks or Better* -> *Jack's or Better* is played with one standard *52* card deck with no wild card's. The lowest ranking hand with a payout consist's of any pair of Jack's (*J*), Queen's (*Q*), King's (*K*) and or Aces (*A*).
*Joker Poker* -> Joker Poker is played with one standard *52* card deck + an extra *Joker* that is considered a *wild card*. It should be noted that in *Joker Poker* a *Five Of A Kind* rank's higher than a *Wild Royal Flush*
*Tens or Better* -> Ten's or Better is played with one standard *52* card deck with no wild card's. The lowest ranking hand with a payout consist's of any pair of Tens (*10*), Jack's (*J*), Queen's (*Q*), King's (*K*) and Aces (*A*).
